CRS Nuances

This document goes over the nuances of exporting the rainguages and subcatchments.

Point Layer from the subcatchments​

  1. Load the subcatchments SHP file into QGIS.
  2. Export the SHP as a csv file
  3. Load the csv file again as a delimited text layer in QGIS.
  4. While loading the csv file in QGIS, choose the CRS as EPSG:3547
    1. Choose X and Y for the points
  5. Once loaded, you can export the layer as a GeoJSON. (This will only contain the pushpins, but include all the metadata inside)
